Black Creek Integrated Systems Corp. has been selected by Darlington County Government (Darlington, SC) to provide the integrated security control system for the new Darlington County Courthouse currently under construction. FBI Construction (Florence, SC) serves as the General Contractor for the project, with RussCo Networks, LLC acting as the designated subcontractor responsible for system installation. Black Creek will supply both system components and technical expertise for the advanced security solution. The new two-story, 44,000-square-foot courthouse is anticipated to be completed in 2023, with a projected total cost of $15.4 million.
Scope of supply includes programmable logic controllers, control relays, touchscreen control workstations, security servers, Harding intercom systems, headend equipment, required network infrastructure, and ancillary materials needed to create a robust integrated security platform. The control system will interface with the ExacqVision CCTV system provided by RussCo or a designated contractor. In addition, Black Creek will deliver comprehensive programming, engineering, project management, shop drawings and as-built documentation, system start-up and commissioning, as well as end-user training to ensure a seamless transition.
The new Black Creek solution will significantly enhance staff and visitor safety by enabling officers to easily manage camera views, facility doors, intercoms, and additional security functions. This modernized system will also deliver long-term value to the facility by simplifying operational control, reducing maintenance expenses, and improving staff productivity.
