Flagler County, FL has selected Black Creek Integrated Systems Corp. to replace the outdated security control system at the County Jail in Bunnell, FL. The 400-bed facility’s previous system, installed in 2015, no longer meets operational requirements. Black Creek will deliver a new state-of-the-art Super Display® Touchscreen Security Control System designed to maximize safety, efficiency, and long-term reliability.
The project includes replacing all touchscreen control stations with Black Creek’s latest Super Display® workstations, powered by the newest supported Windows® operating system and control software. To further strengthen security, Black Creek will furnish and install new programmable logic controllers, control relays, security servers, and a secure high-speed VPN appliance for remote diagnostics and support. A new Harding Voice-over-IP intercom and paging system will replace the existing analog system, ensuring clearer, more reliable communications.
In addition, the existing CCTV system will be fully upgraded to a Genetec Omnicast™ Video Recording and Management System. Black Creek will install new high-definition IP cameras, digital video workstations, and large-scale video monitor walls to enhance staff’s ability to observe and respond to inmate activity, all while minimizing disruption to daily operations.
Each Super Display® Touchscreen station will feature a 32” LCD monitor displaying security controls alongside live video, allowing officers to quickly access camera views, manage utilities, and operate facility systems. The upgrade will improve safety for staff and visitors, streamline operations, reduce maintenance costs, and increase overall efficiency.
