Black Creek Integrated Systems Corp., a leading provider of correctional facility security solutions, today announced it has been selected by the City of Kent, WA to supply its SallyPort©WA Jail Management System (JMS) for the replacement of the city’s existing jail management platform. The new system will empower the Kent Sheriff’s Office and Kent Correctional Facility with advanced capabilities to manage inmate data, streamline facility operations, and integrate with select agency systems. As part of the project, legacy data from the current JMS will be securely converted to ensure continuity, and the SallyPort©WA JMS will work seamlessly alongside a new Records Management System delivered by another vendor.
SallyPort©WA is a state-specific, enterprise-class, browser-based jail management system designed to drive operational efficiency for correctional agencies in Washington. Key system features include custom workflow management, My Queues, digital mugshot capture, inmate screening and classification, time computation, property inventory and transactions, inmate scheduling, facility accounting, medical module, comprehensive audit trails, threat group assessment, intra-agency messaging, electronic shift logging, and both standard and ad-hoc reporting. To further enhance facility oversight, the SallyPort© Watch Tour Manager® plug-in will be deployed, supporting digital documentation of guard rounds and inmate welfare checks.
Integration aspects for the City of Kent Sheriff’s Office include interfaces to the new Records Management System (RMS) for court and case data, Livescan fingerprinting, the Appriss VINE system for victim notification upon inmate release, and essential facility service systems such as inmate phone, commissary, and electronic medical records platforms.
