### Fulton County, NY Awards Black Creek a Contract to Upgrade the Security Control System
###### April 18, 2024-
Fulton Co., NY, has awarded Black Creek Integrated Systems Corp. a contract to upgrade the existing physical security control system at the County Correctional Facility. Black Creek will provide a new, state-of-the-art Super Display® touchscreen control system for the 165-bed facility located in Johnstown, NY. Fulton Co. has been a Black Creek client since 1992, when their first Black Creek physical security control system was installed. Fulton Co. also utilizes Black Creek’s SallyPort©NY Jail management System[,](https://www.blackcreekisc.com/products/sallyport.html) which is integrated with the Touchscreen control system.
Black Creek will replace all existing touchscreen control stations and system computers with the latest models, utilizing the latest supported Windows® operating system and Black Creek’s latest touchscreen control software. Black Creek will also replace the existing Vicon CCTV video management system with a new state-of-the-art Genetec Video Recording and Management System. As part of the CCTV upgrade, Black Creek will also furnish and install new high-definition digital/IP cameras and network infrastructure to replace outdated analog cameras.
The new Black Creek system will improve the safety of staff and visitors with its enhanced functionality that the current control system does not provide. Each Super Display® Touchscreen station features two LCD monitors that display all the facility’s security controls and a CCTV camera call-up and video display. An officer can easily select different camera viewpoints, control facility utilities, and more. The system upgrade will make security control easier and save the facility money by decreasing maintenance costs and increasing staff efficiency.
