June 28, 2023 – Black Creek Integrated Systems Corp. has been selected to provide its SallyPort^©WA Jail Management System (JMS) to replace the existing jail management system for the City of Kent, WA. Kent, WA, will use the Black Creek’s SallyPort^©WA JMS software to manage inmate data for the City of Kent Sheriff’s Office and Kent Correctional Facility; interfaces will be provided to select systems utilized by the Agency. Legacy data from the old JMS will be converted into the new database. Black Creek’s SallyPort^©WA Jail Management System will be used in conjunction with a new Records Management System provided by another vendor.

SallyPort^© is a state-specific, enterprise-class, browser-based jail management system that provides greater efficiency for its user agencies as the result of its state-specific design and its many intrinsic features, including My Queues and workflow, digital mugshot image capture, inmate screening and classification, inmate time computation, inmate property inventory and transactions, inmate scheduling module, facility account module, standard and ad-hoc reporting capabilities, medical module, expansive audit capabilities, threat group assessment, intra-agency messaging, and electronic shift log to replace paper logs. The SallyPort^© Watch Tour Manager® plug-in module will be used for documentation of guard rounds and inmate welfare checks Additional integration to be implemented for the City of Kent Sheriff’s Office will include an interface to the Agency’s new Records Management System (RMS) used for court and case data, being replaced under a separate project; a Live Scan fingerprint interface; an interface to the Appriss VINE database for victim notifications related to inmate releases; and interfaces to the facility’s inmate service systems, such as the inmate phone system, inmate commissary system, and inmate electronic medical records.
