Columbia County, NY Sheriff's Office Implements Black Creek's New Citadel

Law Enforcement Records Management System

Black Creek Integrated Systems Corp. is excited to announce that the Columbia Co., NY Sheriff’s Office has gone live with our Citadel^© Records Management System! Black Creek’s Citadel^© RMS is a New York State NIBRS-compliant application with integral functionality that includes NYDEX interface, Livescan interface, NY State-required forms, and full integration with our SallyPort^©NY Jail Management System. The browser-based RMS meets all NY Police reform requirements and supports multiple agency access of a single agency database, allowing County Sheriff’s Offices and local Police Departments to share data.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office was a natural fit to become an early adopter of the Citadel^© RMS and participate in the final development and refinement of the application, as the CCSO is a long-standing customer of Black Creek Integrated Systems Corp., having implemented our SallyPort^©NY JMS in 2005, our Super Display^® touchscreen-based integrated physical security control system in 2011, and our Watch Tour Manager^® welfare checks/guard rounds system in 2014.

When asked to comment on the experience, Sheriff Donald Krapf offered this: “The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office has been fortunate to work with Black Creek Integrated Systems in implementing the new Citadel^© Records Management System. The platform will allow us to compile and extract data and reports to help identify areas of concern in Columbia County.
