Delaware Co. Awards Black Creek Project to Upgrade the Integrated Security Control System for the Delaware County Correctional Facility

Delaware County, NY, has selected Black Creek Integrated Systems Corp. to deliver a comprehensive upgrade of the Security Control System at the Delaware County Correctional Facility in Delhi, NY. Black Creek has supported this 100-bed facility since 2002, initially providing the original physical security control system. In addition, Delaware County continues to utilize our SallyPort©NY Inmate/Jail Management System and Electronic Shift Log to streamline operations.

This project encompasses the modernization of the existing GE Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to the advanced RX3i platform, the replacement of legacy touchscreen workstations with Black Creek Super Display® units operating on Windows® 10, and substantial enhancements to the network infrastructure. Further, all security system computers and servers will receive upgrades to Windows® 10 and the most current Black Creek software. As part of this initiative, the outdated Vicon CCTV system will be supplanted by a robust Bosch solution, complete with Bosch Video Recording & Management software; all existing cameras will be upgraded to new Bosch IP cameras, accompanied by new video review workstations and an iSCSI storage array. The result will be optimal, future-ready performance of both touchscreen and surveillance systems, ensuring seamless compatibility with upcoming technology such as IP camera replacements.
