Black Creek Awarded Project to Upgrade Integrated Security Control System at the Otsego Co. Jail

Black Creek Integrated Systems Corp. has secured a contract with the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office to update the facility’s existing Black Creek Touchscreen Security System and CCTV infrastructure at the 100-bed Otsego County Jail in Cooperstown, New York. This project will upgrade the facility’s operating system from Windows® 7 to Windows® 10 and transition CCTV video recording and management from the legacy Vicon system to a Bosch platform.

The scope includes deployment of new Super Display® touchscreen control stations at strategic locations and installation of updated servers to support comprehensive security operations—covering door access control, intercom communications, CCTV camera monitoring, utility management, inmate movement tracking, watch tour logging, and electronic shift entry. The enhanced security system will maintain full integration with the Agency's existing Black Creek SallyPort©NY jail management system. Additionally, outdated Vicon encoders—now designated End-of-Life—will be replaced with new Bosch encoders, ensuring continued digitization of analog camera signals. An advanced Bosch Video Recording and Management system will be implemented, delivering robust video management and seamless integration with the upgraded touchscreen control system.
