Black Creek Announces Promotion of John McClure to Director of Software Engineering

Black Creek is pleased to announce the promotion of John McClure to Director, Software Engineering. John joined Black Creek in April 2022 as the Software Development Manager for Black Creek’s Criminal Justice Application Group (CJAG); in that role, John was responsible for the design and development of software applications for our SallyPort^© Jail Management System and Citadel Law Enforcement Records Management System. John’s proven ability to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, as well as his experience in cross-functional collaboration and software development lifecycle management, has positioned him as an outstanding leader.

As Director of Software Engineering, John will lead and manage development teams across all lines of business, providing the technical vision to advance Black Creek’s software initiatives in alignment with our strategic priorities and overall business goals. He brings to the role a deep understanding of Black Creek’s products, exceptional technical knowledge, and strong leadership and mentorship skills.
