Birmingham, AL – May 1, 2018 – Black Creek has been issued a contract by Seneca County, NY to implement Black Creek’s Watch Tour^® Manager System on mobile devices at the 120-bed Seneca County Law Enforcement Center. Seneca County has been a Black Creek customer since 2005. The Seneca County Law Enforcement Center currently uses Black Creek’s Super Display^® Touchscreen Security System, and SallyPort^© Jail Management System.

The scope of the work will include furnishing and installing location and Watch Tour^® barcode assemblies at required rounds points, furnishing and installing Wireless Access Points at strategic locations to facilitate live, real-time data transfer, and implementation of the Watch Tour^® Manager software on Android™ tablets purchased by the County.

The software allows Agency management to ensure facility tours are conducted on schedule and in compliance with policy, and allows real-time supervisory review of rounds as they occur. Furthermore, by utilizing Android™ tablets, the Agency can also activate the same security control functionality from the tablet as is currently available from the existing Super Display^® Touchscreen system on fixed desktop workstations. Officers can display all the facility’s security controls and CCTV camera call-ups / video display on the hand-held devices. The system provides agencies with a modern solution that incorporates all aspects of correctional facility physical security into a single, fully integrated package.

These improvements to Seneca County Law Enforcement Center will make security control easier and save the facility money by decreasing maintenance costs and increasing staff efficiency.

The latest Ver. 4.0 release of SallyPort^© represents a new paradigm in jail management software in that its high level of configurability allows the software to be conformed to the operational needs of the agency rather than the agency having to conform its operations to the needs of the software.
