Birmingham, AL – April 24, 2018 – Black Creek has been awarded a contract by the Tulsa County Board of Commissioners to upgrade the existing Black Creek Security System at the 1,980-bed David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center, located in Tulsa, OK, to a new Black Creek Super Display® Touchscreen Control System. The original security system was installed by Black Creek during the construction of the facility in 1999.

All existing touchscreen control stations will be removed and replaced with new touchscreen stations utilizing the Black Creek Super Display® software. Each station will include a 32” LCD monitor, which will have a split screen with one side dedicated to security control of the field devices and the other side dedicated to CCTV camera call-up via an interface to the facility’s existing Avigilon CCTV system. The existing PLCs will be removed and replaced. The new Black Creek system will be extended to control a housing unit addition that was completed in 2016.

Black Creek’s Super Display® System incorporates all correctional security functions, including multiple CCTV cameras monitoring into a single, high resolution, high contrast LCD touchscreen monitor. An officer can easily select different camera viewpoints, control facility utilities and more. The system provides agencies with a modern solution that incorporates all aspects of correctional facility physical security into a single, fully integrated package.
